Top Garage (Not Top Gear)

Chris Evans has been a household name for decades – first finding success in the 80’s as a radio producer and presenter, which spanned to television in the 90’s. Having being a presenter for radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 & 2 and Virgin, and TV presenter for programmes such as Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast and BBC One’s The One Show, Chris Evans was certainly experienced enough to be a logical option as the new Top Gear presenter.

Evans’ status as a Ferrari super fan and all-round petrol head has been highlighted on his appearances on Top Gear as the ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’, and his driving record – littered with driving bans, speeding charges and even a car crash – only made him a more suitable candidate as Jeremy Clarkson’s successor. However, after a mere six episodes of the new Top Gear, Evans has stepped down, saying “Gave it my best shot but sometimes that’s not enough. The team are beyond brilliant; I wish them all the best.”

Evans’ famous ‘White Garage’ houses an impressive collection of white Ferraris along with a matching white grand piano. Whatever your opinion of Evans as a presenter, one thing is indisputable - he has a cracking collection of cars!
